A busy summer is on the schedule for LEGO Technic fans, as a total of 12 new sets are expected. The lineup consists of a new supercar within the Ultimate Car series, two models from The Fast and the Furious films, a large Formula 1 car from Aston Martin, a Ducati motorcycle, a remote-controlled Batmobile Tumbler, and several sports cars. Additionally, LEGO appears to be experimenting with a new concept in the form of collectible Technic machines in blind boxes. Below you will find the complete overview of all new Technic sets being released in June, July, and August 2026.

LEGO Technic 42229 Fast and Furious Mitsubishi Eclipse


LEGO Technic 42229 Fast and Furious Mitsubishi Eclipse is expected to be released on June 1, 2026, for €64.99. The set consists of 827 bricks and is based on the Mitsubishi Eclipse from the first Fast and the Furious film. The car is best known for its striking green livery and prominent role in the racing scenes, in which the vehicle is driven by Brian O’Conner. Set number: 42229

LEGO Technic 42231 Fast and Furious Dodge Charger R/T


On June 1, 2026, LEGO Technic 42231 Fast and Furious Dodge Charger R/T Car will be released. The set contains 1,516 bricks and draws inspiration from the Dodge Charger R/T from The Fast and the Furious. This classic American muscle car from the 1970s is known for its powerful V8 engine and straight, aggressive lines. In the film, it is Dominic Toretto’s recognizable car and forms the centerpiece of several races and action scenes.

For years, LEGO has followed a consistent rhythm within the Technic Ultimate Car Concept line, releasing a new hypercar every two years. For 2026, that tradition appears to be continuing. According to recent rumors, LEGO is working on LEGO Technic 42232 Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear, a model that, with 4,104 bricks, could potentially become the most complex and detailed vehicle in the series to date. The set is expected in July.

LEGO Technic 42233 Mighty Machines

According to rumors, LEGO is releasing a new concept this summer: LEGO Technic 42233 Mighty Machines. It involves so-called cardboard blind boxes containing small, buildable Technic models. The idea is similar to the collectible minifigures, but entirely focused on machines. Each LEGO Technic 42233 Mighty Machines package contains one of the eight available mini-machines to build. The image shows, among others, a crane, bulldozer, cement truck, and an excavator. The blind box approach means that you do not know in advance which model you will get.

LEGO Technic 42234 Dodge Viper GTS-R

LEGO Technic 42234 Dodge Viper GTS-R is scheduled for August 2026 and will have a suggested retail price of €64.99. The set consists of 805 bricks and is inspired by the racing variant of the Dodge Viper, which achieved great success in GT championships in the late 1990s and early 2000s, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The GTS-R is known for its wide body kit, low ride height, and aerodynamics.

LEGO Technic 42235 Ferrari 488 Pista will be released in August 2026 with a suggested retail price of €64.99. The set contains 882 bricks and centers on the 488 Pista, a lighter and more powerful variant of the 488 GTB derived directly from Ferrari’s experience in motorsport. The car is known for its V8 twin-turbo engine, improved downforce, and sharp handling.

LEGO Technic 42236 Ford Mustang is scheduled for August 2026 and will have a suggested retail price of €89.99. The model is built from 973 bricks. At the time of writing, it is not yet known which version of the Mustang the set is based on.

LEGO Technic 42238 Ducati Desmo 450 MX Factory Motorcycle is expected in August 2026 with a suggested retail price of €49.99. The set contains 457 bricks and focuses on a Ducati motocross bike, which has also been actively competing in off-road and MX competitions in recent years. This type of motorcycle is known for its lightweight frame, long suspension travel, and maneuverability on rough terrain.

LEGO Technic 42239 Batman: Batmobile Tumbler is scheduled for July 2026. The set consists of 719 bricks and is based on the Tumbler from The Dark Knight Trilogy. Furthermore, the model will be remote-controlled. This immediately explains the high price and the low number of bricks.

LEGO Technic 42240 Aston Martin F1 – AMR26


The 1:8 line of Formula 1 cars is getting a new addition this summer. With LEGO Technic 42240 Aston Martin F1 AMR26, LEGO is introducing the first Technic model based on the latest generation of F1 cars. According to the latest rumors, the set will appear in the LEGO Shop on July 1, 2026, for €229.99. The set consists of 1,547 bricks, working out to a price of 14.8 cents per brick. The model features both pushrod and pullrod suspension, a gearbox, a working steering mechanism, and a differential. It can be driven via the steering wheel in the cockpit or with the rotary knob on top of the car. Additionally, the hood is removable, revealing the V6 engine.

LEGO Technic 42241 Green Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Hyper Car


The orange LEGO Technic 42222 Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Hyper Car. Apart from the color, the green model will be identical to this version.

LEGO Technic 42241 Green Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Hyper Car will be released on June 1, 2026 for €64.99. The model is a green version of the previously released LEGO Technic 42222 Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Hyper Car. The set contains 771 bricks and is 8 cm high, 29 cm long, and 13 cm wide. The Bugatti features a W16 engine, opening doors and hood, and working controls via the button on the roof. A code is included with the set that unlocks a digital version of the Chiron Pur Sport in the online game Asphalt Legends.
