The LEGO version features several articulated body parts. The head can move up and down and rotate a full 360 degrees. The mouth can be opened and closed, while the arms, wrists, and fingers are all poseable. This allows builders to recreate E.T.’s iconic pose with his finger pointing toward the sky.

When E.T. is holding the flower pot, a button on his back can be pressed to activate the famous glowing effect in his chest. This feature references one of the most memorable moments from the film.

The original fan design consists of 2,990 pieces. Of these, 2,662 elements are used for the E.T. model itself, while the remaining pieces are dedicated to accessories, including the candy and the iconic flower pot from the film.

Built at a 1:3 scale, the model stands 30.7 cm (12.1 in.) tall. With the neck fully extended, its height increases to approximately 38 cm (15 in.).

E.T. features a wide range of articulated parts, including his arms, hands, feet, and head. A gear mechanism on the back allows the neck to extend, while a button on the side activates his signature glowing chest, bringing one of the character’s most recognizable features to life.
