LEGO 256 1:87 Bedford Tow Truck

LEGO 256 Bedford Tow Truck is a System i Leg HO 1:87 vehicle set released in 1958, and was in production until 1963. The truck's tow bar can be used to tow other 1:87 vehicles. There are two versions of this set. One had the turn signals on the front, while the other had them on the side of the cab.

It is the same set as the LEGO 1256 Bedford Tow Truck set. except set 1256 was released in 1955. The total production time for this Bedford Tow Truck is 8 years from 1955-1963.
The packaging of this set is also used for set 255 Bedford Fire Engine.
