The LEGO® Star Wars Design Team has released a statement regarding the box art of the LEGO 75345 Star Wars 501st Battle Pack . There is an error in the box image regarding the 501st officer minifigure and the placement of the blue rangefinder antenna. The box art shows this is connected at a lower point than the physical element can be attached to, therefore the rendered image does not reflect the physical product. Jens Kronvold Frederiksen, Creative Lead for LEGO Star Wars said:
“Creating new sets requires a number of different teams to work together in parallel, and unfortunately the printed box art for 75345 includes a computer rendering of a Phase 2 Clone Trooper helmet that does not include the final completed physical element and positioning of the rangefinder on the figure.
In the final design of the physical helmet element, the visor determines where holes for additional attachments should be placed to allow them to sit. This is slightly higher than where the rangefinder is located on the render on the 75345 box."
