LEGO Super Mario 72051 Mario Arcade Machine
The LEGO Super Mario 72051 Mario Arcade Machine will reportedly contain 1,367 bricks and have a suggested retail price of Dhs 650. Like other display models in the Super Mario theme, the set will be 18+ and is primarily intended as a collectible for Nintendo and retro gaming fans. Incidentally, this isn't the first time LEGO has released an arcade cabinet. Previous releases include LEGO Icons 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade and 40805 Arcade Machine. The LEGO Mario Arcade Machine is likely slightly smaller than the PAC-MAN version, considering the number of bricks and the price.
Set number: 72051
Name: Mario Arcade Machine
Theme: Super Mario
Number of bricks: 1367
Number of minifigures: none
Release date: August 1, 2026
Recommended age: 18+
Based on the real-life model, you can expect a classic arcade machine with an orange casing, a black front panel, and colorful side panels featuring Mario and Luigi graphics. Above the screen is the illuminated "Mario Bros." logo, although it likely won't light up in the LEGO version. The original also features two joysticks and jump buttons. LEGO will include a small scene inside the cabinet, just like with the two previous arcade cabinets.
The cabinet is based on Mario Bros., the arcade game Nintendo released in 1983. This game preceded the global success of Super Mario Bros. on the NES and introduced Mario and Luigi as playable characters for the first time. In the game, the two plumbers work together in an underground sewer system, eliminating enemies like Shellcreepers and Sidesteppers. The game was released in arcades worldwide and is considered an important step in Mario's evolution as a Nintendo icon.
