A great gift for Christmas: the Veterans Calendar from "Nans Charity"

Nans Charity, an initiative of our friend Nancy Jansen, is publishing a calendar this year. Made by and for Veterans. Special models from all parts of defense have been tastefully photographed by Jan Dijkstra. Every month provides a view of a model with a story, printed on high-quality paper.

The proceeds (costs) from the sale of the birthday calendar will entirely benefit the Hulphond Nederland Foundation. Many veterans and citizens have cooperated in this wonderful initiative, remember

“As a veteran, I enjoy being a host family and ambassador for the Assistance Dog Foundation. Every day we see what our assistance dogs mean to our clients. I once said at an event that our dogs greatly improved the quality of life of the clients. Immediately clients came to me and told me never to say that again. They felt that the assistance dogs gave them their lives back! That is what motivates all those people at the foundation. From volunteer to trainer, therapist and director, we care for our clients and dogs.

Yet there is still a lack of understanding about the work of assistance dogs. Just as there is still a lack of understanding for veterans. Then it is great that the Veterans Calendar draws attention to both the veteran and support for the Assistance Dog Foundation.
