Starting today, the LEGO Group will run a pilot to better understand what LEGO fans want. During the pilot, a small number of LEGO stores will offer variations on a number of existing LEGO sets. This also includes a blue version of the LEGO 10271, the FIAT 500 from Creator Expert . The aim of the pilot is to learn more about the colors and sizes of sets that fans of all ages want to see more of and to see where and how people prefer to shop. Here's a statement about the pilot:
“The LEGO Group is piloting a small number of products to better understand what our fans want from our portfolio and where they prefer to buy new or unique products.
The pilot will include variations of some of our existing products so we can learn more about the colors and sizes of sets that fans of all ages will want to see more of in our portfolio.”
Five sets will be available during the pilot, exclusively in the UK. 2TTOYS has managed to get its hands on some FIAT 500s in blue. But... gone = gone, so as soon as stock runs out, no more sets will be replenished.
