# PlayStation (PS1) gets its own LEGO set in December 2026 (72306)

LEGO has already released several retro consoles in brick form in recent years, including the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and the Atari 2600. However, it doesn't seem to stop there. According to the usually well-informed Instagram user LEGO Minecraft Goat, the original PlayStation will also be released as a LEGO set later this year. According to current rumors, LEGO Gaming 72306 PlayStation (PS1) is set to appear in December 2026.

LEGO Gaming 72306 PlayStation (PS1) is said to consist of 1,911 bricks and have a suggested retail price of Dhs. 640. Internally at LEGO, the project reportedly bears the codename ‘Play’ or ‘P’. The set is reportedly a display model of the first-generation PlayStation, including one controller. Based on previous LEGO consoles, there is a good chance that a well-known PlayStation game will also be included as a buildable disc, although it is not yet known which title that would be.
